Abdul Aziz for Fruits & Vegetables W.L.L. is a Doha-based Qatari company that says it has been importing, wholesaling and distributing fresh fruit and vegetables in Qatar since 1969, serving Doha and the whole country with more than 50 years of experience. It describes itself as a leading importer and distributor of fresh produce in Qatar, and its chairman, Abdul Aziz, says the company's journey has made it one of the largest importers and distributors of fresh fruit and vegetables in the country. The company states that it imports from the Netherlands, South Africa, Australia, the USA, Iran, India and Thailand, alongside locally grown produce, so that seasonal fruit and everyday vegetables are available all year round; its online shop groups the range into origin categories including Thai, Dutch, Indian, Kenyan and European fruit and vegetables, USA fruits and berries, and local produce. It says it supplies more than 200 kinds of fresh fruit and vegetables in bulk and has built a network of more than 200 loyal suppliers and customers. Consignments arrive by air, sea and road at its cold-storage warehouse, where, according to the company, each one is inspected for compliance with Qatar's import standards before being graded, stored in large chillers and dispatched. On distribution, its main warehouse in Birkat Al Awameer (Zone 91) is fully air-conditioned, with large-scale cold storage and more than 12 large chillers. It also has an air-conditioned wholesale warehouse with cold storage in the Industrial Area (Sanaya), Doha, and wholesale shops and an office at the Central Market in Al Sailiya (shops A08 and A27) for auction-market wholesale and retail sales. The company says its fleet of 30 refrigerated vehicles of different sizes delivers to wholesalers, macro markets, supermarkets, five-star hotels, restaurants, caterers, the government sector and local markets, and it also sells to households through an online shop delivering across Qatar. The website shows an ISO 22000:2018 food safety management certificate issued by QRO and a HACCP certificate issued by Royal Impact Certification, both covering the importing and exporting of fresh fruit and vegetables and valid until December 2028, as well as a certificate of appreciation from the Ministry of Municipality (Al Wakra Municipality) dated December 2024. The company says its vision is to become a trusted leader in the fruit and vegetable industry by delivering fresh, high-quality produce from around the world, and its mission is to supply fruit and vegetables from trusted sources with consistent availability and competitive pricing, committed to quality, hygiene and customer service.
