L.L.C. says its journey began in 1994 as a family-owned business aiming to diversify into all major food segments, and its head office is in Dubai Investments Park II, Dubai. It describes itself as one of the leading foodservice distributors, importers and exporters of food and non-food products in the UAE, the Middle East and international markets, and its site states that on 10 October 2023 it joined Silal, part of Abu Dhabi holding company ADQ. It says its beverage solutions division has operated since 2013. Alongside these it lists in-house brands (14 on the company page, 9 on the brand partners page), including SAFCO Fresh, which it calls the exclusive distributor of Silal fresh produce with over 3,000 SKUs, Oceanic Pearl seafood and Esperance chocolate and frozen viennoiserie. The site shows HACCP, ISO 22000:2018, ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001 certificates, and awards including a Dubai Quality appreciation award, an Emirates SkyCargo service award for 2022–2023 and Etihad Aviation Group's Gold Local Content Partner certificate.
