El Marwa Foods is an Egyptian company founded in 2007. It produces, packs, processes and exports pickles of many types and sizes. Its factory is in Shabratna, Basyoun (Gharbia Governorate), with an office in Nozha, Cairo and sales branches in Cairo, Qalyubia, Gharbia and Asyut. The green olive range includes whole green olives, pitted, sliced and grilled green olives, and green olives stuffed with carrot, pepper or lemon. The black olive range covers natural black olives, sliced black olives, Kalamata olives and Malamata Dolce olives. The company also offers a range of pickles. The company says it was the first pickle company in Egypt accredited by the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA). It also owns SFDA-accredited farms supervised by consultants and engineers, and buys raw materials from certified suppliers according to Global GAP requirements. El Marwa is one of the leading pickle exporters to Arab markets such as Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Jordan and Oman, as well as to European countries.
