M. A. Al-Zubairi & Bro is one of Yemen's oldest trading companies, headquartered in the Al-Zubairi Building on Hadda Street, Sana'a. Its website states that it was established in 1970 importing food products into the Yemeni market and expanded during the 1980s into electrical goods, electronics, beauty products, and engine oils and lubricants. It describes itself as one of the oldest, biggest and main general merchandisers, importers and distributors of electrical and food products in Yemen, and says it keeps a relationship of trust with the companies it represents and with its customers. The company says it sells and distributes its products directly through its own branches in all major cities and through its own distribution network, which covers the entire geographical area of Yemen and reaches all wholesalers.
