Alzaher National Trading Company

Alzaher National Trading Company is a Saudi company founded in Jeddah and active since 2004. It describes itself as a leading Saudi company in the distribution and import of high-quality food products and frozen goods, serving the wholesale and retail sectors throughout the Kingdom. Its head office is in Jeddah's Al Safa district (Companies Complex, Harun bin Al Abbas Street), and according to the website it is led by CEO Fares Hussein Almohi Albagami. The company says its network includes the Jeddah branch (head office) with a direct sales showroom and main distribution centre covering most of Greater Jeddah; the Makkah branch, serving the Western Region and the needs of Hajj and Umrah pilgrims year-round; and the Taif branch for wholesale and retail in Taif and neighbouring governorates, plus a cold store and warehouse in the Industrial Area and another in Al Khumra equipped with freezing and refrigeration systems. It lists coverage areas including Riyadh, Madinah, Abha, Jizan and Dammam, says its transport fleet covers all regions of the Kingdom, and that it serves more than 1,000 customers. The company says it offers more than 500 frozen food products imported from factories worldwide, and its website shows frozen vegetables and fruit under the "Alzaher National" label, such as mixed vegetables, green beans, molokhia, Okra Zero, strawberries and pomegranate. It states that it imports directly from more than 10 countries: India, Brazil, the Netherlands, China, Turkey, Russia, Egypt, Belgium, New Zealand and Australia. The company says its wholesale department was set up to serve restaurants, hotels and local distributors, and that its customers include wholesalers, major supermarket chains, hotels, restaurants and cafés, and government and private entities; it also offers refrigerated and frozen transport. It mentions a quality-control laboratory and displays HACCP food safety, ISO certification and SFDA registration on its website, and states that its vision is to be the first choice in food distribution in the Kingdom in line with Vision 2030.
