The Malaysian Alami Group established Arab Malaysian Vegetable Oil Products Co. Ltd. (Zeyut) in Saudi Arabia in 2007. The company states that it operates two integrated complexes for refining, processing, manufacturing and packing vegetable oils and fats in Yanbu: one in the Royal Commission Light Industrial Area and one at King Fahd Industrial Port. Its range covers RBD palm olein, sunflower, corn and soybean oils, blended oils, NoveLin oil, RBD palm oil and palm stearin, plus non-hydrogenated vegetable ghee, shortening, margarine and specialty fats. It states ISO 9001:2008, ISO 22000:2005 and HACCP certification and also packs under clients' private labels. The group owns sister companies for metal and plastic packaging and for transport, delivering Zeyut products to customers in Saudi Arabia, the Gulf States and neighbouring countries. The head office is in Jeddah.
