Areej Vegetable Oils & Derivatives (AVOD) S.A.O.C. is Oman's flagship edible-oils manufacturer, founded in 1980 and headquartered with its refinery and packing plant in Muscat. The company serves the GCC and wider Middle East markets as well as more than 30 export countries worldwide. Its product range includes sunflower, corn and palm oils, frying and cooking oils, vegetable ghee, butter and margarine, bakery and biscuit fats, and mayonnaise. Brand names such as Minara, Areej, Sohar, Khafeef, Jabal Akhdar, Hafla, Taj, Sindbad and Muscat Margarine are household staples in Omani and Gulf kitchens.

Minara Pure Sunflower Oil
Described by the company as the first pure sunflower oil in the GCC, a source of vitamin E and suited to all cooking and deep frying. PET packs from 750 ml to 6 L.
Areej Cooking Oil
A blend of sunflower oil and super olein, fortified with vitamins A and D and trans-fat free, for cooking and deep frying. Packs of 750 ml, 1 L and 1.5 L.
Areej Vegetable Ghee
