Azka Foods

Azka Foods presents itself as a leading Egyptian company specialising in the supply and distribution of a wide range of FMCG brands from and to all parts of the world. It is based on Majlis Al Dawla Street in the 4th District of 6th of October City, Giza, and has an office at Lane Mall, Palm Valley Entrance, Sheikh Zayed. In the message from its President and CEO Mohammed Fouad on the website, the company says it was established in 2016 and started from zero; it describes itself as one of the leading trading companies in Egypt's FMCG industry and operates as "Azka Group" across import, export and distribution. Its vision is to provide global goods locally and local goods globally. The company says sales and distribution are the foundation of its business, for both its partners' brands and its own, and that it has a smart warehouse it describes as one of the best in Egypt, with a well-integrated system and modern equipment following international standards. It lists its sales channels as wholesalers, retailers, distributors and exclusive distributors, and says its exclusive products are available at local supermarkets and international hypermarkets across Egypt. On import and export, it says its partners and customers come from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Chad, Nigeria, Ghana, Lebanon, Iraq, Jordan, Thailand, the USA, Germany and the Czech Republic, that it serves clients in more than 20 countries from own and partnered warehouses in Egypt, Dubai, Saudi Arabia and Germany. The company says that in 2020 it became the exclusive agent in Egypt of Pakistan's Mehran Spice & Food Industries, which started in 1975 and expanded its range from spices to ready-mix recipes, rice, pickles, chutneys and sweet items. Its exclusive-brands section also shows Alesayi Beverages, including Alsi Cola, Stream and Fifa Frooty juices. The company states that its imported range covers beverages, foodstuffs, sweets, coffee and soft drinks, and its import and export page says it handles major brands such as Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, Mondelez, Danone, Kraft Heinz and Nestlé. The company also sells products under its own Azka (Azka Premium Food) brand: its website names halva, tuna, fava beans and olive oil, and its online shop lists extra-long-grain golden sella basmati rice, chicken, shish kebab and kabsa spices, pink Himalayan salt, plain and pistachio halva, Siwa dates, Egyptian Medjool dates and sesame butter. It offers a food-distribution franchise model that lets partners use its network.
