Azmet

Azmet (Azmet Plastik Oyuncak ve Gıda San. Tic. Ltd. Şti.) is a Turkish limited company based in the Maltepe quarter of Zeytinburnu, Istanbul. The company states that it was founded in 1982 and began production with plastic toys, holding a leading position in that sector for many years; in 2002 it started producing dragée confectionery and thereby moved to the "candy toys" concept, which combines a toy and candy in one product. The company says it set up cocoa hazelnut cream production facilities in 2012 and chewing gum production facilities in 2017, that it keeps developing its range, and that it gives priority to customer satisfaction and quality. Its catalogue lists an item number, carton packing, carton dimensions and weights for each product. Its lead brand is Popbon: surprise eggs with toys and candy, eggs with playdough and candy for children aged 3+, and a floor stand holding 120 eggs, plus Popbon Lolly Tube, which combines a lollipop, a surprise toy and candy, and the ice-cream-cone-shaped Popbon Cornet. The surprise-egg range also includes Unicorn Surprise, Pirates Eggs, Dino Surprise (with game cards, candy and stickers), Kiddy Surprise and Lolly Surprise Egg. Candy toys filled with tutti-frutti flavoured dragée candy include Mr. Chicky, Mr. Candy Frog, Carnival Balloon, Düdüko Balloon (a whistle with a balloon), Handy Candy, Helipoli, Candy Pen, Candy Bomb, Candy Phone and Candy Animals. It also makes Clik Clak and Goal fruit-flavoured dragée candy in boxes and display stands, Tiki Taka and Goal whistle dragées, Baygum tutti-frutti bubble gum (balls and fruit shapes in 1 kg bags), Freshdent liquid-filled chewing gum and Chocomella cocoa hazelnut cream. The company states that it exports to more than 35 countries, without naming them, and publishes videos from the exhibitions it attends and of its new products on its "POPBON TV" YouTube channel.
