Dilip & Co., which operates the Dilip International website, presents itself as one of the largest distributors of confectionery and snack products in the Sultanate of Oman, based in Jibroo, Muscat. Its site states that it was established in 1970 by the late Mr Dilip Asher with a first retail shop in Muttrah souq, and that it started with small-scale selling to van sellers and various markets across Oman. The company says Mr Miten Dilip Asher has been a partner since 2003, took over as Managing Director in 2009, expanded the business and created a new distribution network for its products in Oman. Its motto is A Symbol of Trust Since 1970. The company says it started from one shop and today owns seven branches across the Sultanate, and gives its coverage as all over Oman. It states that it operates multiple temperature-controlled warehouses across Oman and an extensive fleet of delivery vehicles, and that it keeps upgrading its ERP system so that all locations and departments are connected by real-time data. The company specialises in confectionery and snacks and shows more than 1,300 products and more than 25 brands on its site, saying it currently procures products from Japan, Brazil, Ecuador, the UK, France, Italy, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, India, Pakistan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and others. Its brands page shows Lotus Biscoff, McVitie's, Jacob's, pladis, Ülker, BN, Napoleon, Takata Foods, Dori, Florestal, ANI, Confiteca, Cocoaland, Kervan, Çizmeci Time, Halk, Saray, Buram, Swasco, QQ Plus, BesBite, Pago Pago, BGM, Austin Nutrifood, Purity, Super Viviga and Pearl Confectionery. In November 2025 the British company Walker's Nonsuch, maker of Top Toffee, announced Dilip & Co. as its official distributor of Top Toffee in the Sultanate of Oman, describing it as one of Oman's largest distributors of confectionery and snack products. The company says continuous investment over more than 50 years has made it one of the best distributors in Oman, and that its experience and understanding of Oman's dynamic market, together with a financially secure foundation and a progressive business outlook, give it an advantage over competitors.
