Golden Africa Djibouti SARL
Edible-oil refining and packing plant near Doraleh port: LIBA sunflower and palm oils
About & Export Capabilities
Golden Africa Djibouti (GAD) is an edible-oil manufacturing and packing facility near Doraleh port in Djibouti. It began production in December 2018 and employs more than 500 people. The company produces the LIBA and Al Naqi cooking-oil brands. Its bulk terminal is linked to Doraleh port by three pipelines so vessels can be offloaded directly into its tanks, and the company states its storage capacity is among the largest in the Red Sea region. It cites a triple refining process with added vitamins and runs its own jerrycan blow-moulding unit and truck fleet. The company exports bulk palm oil, sunflower oil and by-products such as PFAD and stearin to African and Middle Eastern countries. It lists ISO 9001:2015 and FSSC 22000 certification and AfriSAFE awards in 2023 and 2024.
