Amra Salt Factory (Issa Ibrahim & Partners Co.) is a Jordanian salt producer established in 1986 in Sahab, about 25 km south of Amman, using raw salt extracted from the Dead Sea salinas as its main raw material. Its website says the factory's machines were modernised in 1992 to produce salt by a mechanical wash process, and that a production line using evaporation and re-crystallisation was added in 1998. The company produces table salt under its own three brands, Amra, Sasi and Jawad, as well as high-purity vacuum salt, industrial salt, powdered salt, compressed salt tablets for water softening, de-icing salt and salt for animal nutrition, in various pack sizes including 25 kg and 50 kg bags. It states a production capacity of 100 tons of pure salt per day plus 75 tons per day of high-purity vacuum salt, with purity of up to 99%. The company states that it holds ISO 9001 and HACCP certificates, that it received the State Award for the Best Food Product in 1999, that it holds a 75% share of the Jordanian salt market, and that its products have been in demand in neighbouring markets such as Egypt, Lebanon and Saudi Arabia. It is listed in the Jordanian Exporters Directory 2025–2026 published by the Amman Chamber of Industry (under its brand name Sasi).
