Fauji Meat Limited is a Pakistani halal meat exporter incorporated in 2013 as a subsidiary of Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Limited, under the Fauji Foundation group, one of Pakistan's largest industrial conglomerates. Its plant sits on a 47-acre site near Port Qasim, Karachi, with a designed capacity of up to about 200 tons of beef and mutton per day, and holding pens for roughly 800 cattle and 400 sheep and goats. The facility runs a climate-controlled chilling and freezing environment, a High Voltage Electrical Stimulation (HVES) system, a waste water treatment plant, animal traceability and tagging systems, and vacuum packaging that extends shelf life up to 90 days. Slaughtering follows a fully certified Islamic halal methodology, and the company holds approvals and accreditations from multiple government ministries and international agencies that support its export activity. Its range covers fresh chilled and frozen beef and mutton (bone-in, boneless and whole carcass), edible offals and hides, and rendered by-products (tallow, blood meal, bone meal, meat meal) — per its own website, the only meat processor in Pakistan offering rendered products to international quality standards. It has exported to about 22 countries within 5 years of operation, including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Malaysia, Qatar, the UAE, Oman, Tajikistan, Vietnam, Uzbekistan and Egypt, and in 2018 launched its domestic retail brand "Zabeeha" in Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi.
