Jaleel Distribution presents itself as a business unit of Jaleel Holdings, which its site describes as an AED 1.3 billion holding company headquartered in Dubai with an extensive presence across the GCC, and calls itself a leading distributor of premium consumer brands in the UAE. The group site says Jaleel Distribution began operations in 1996 and has evolved into one of the foremost FMCG distributors in the UAE and Oman, while the group's roots go back to 1972, when a fruit wholesale outlet opened in Deira. Its office is at MVK Central in Majan, Dubai. The company states that its modern warehousing ranges from a 400,000 sq ft temperature-controlled warehouse to automated warehouses across the UAE, Oman and Bahrain, that it runs a fleet of 200+ delivery vehicles, has more than 1,500 employees and serves over 15,000 B2B customers, with offices in the UAE, Oman, KSA and Bahrain. It serves supermarkets, groceries, hypermarkets, institutions, hotels and restaurants, and shows Lulu, Carrefour, Nesto, Spinneys, Union Coop, Al Maya, Al Safeer and Dubai Duty Free among its customers. Its history notes the first general warehouse in DIP in 2003, being the first in the distribution sector to integrate SAP in 2009, and the group's opening of the Crosswell Warehouse and Logistics Centre in Dubai Industrial City in 2022. The company says it handles over 40 brands; its food brand list includes Eastern, RKG, Al Jaleeb Tea, Al Dhafra Dates, Crown Basmati Rice, Kadhir rice, Daawat Devaaya, KLF Coconad, Eastea, Berry Hills, Royal Delight, Nabil, Cocon, A-1 Chips, ANGT, Pavan, Chiko, Kitchen Treasures, Parisons Liberty, Bragg and Sugar Free, as well as Haldiram's, Parle and Complan. Its history says it started its services with RKG in 1996 and then added Al Jaleeb Tea and Eastern. The company publishes a testimonial from Eastern, which says its relationship with Jaleel Distribution is more than three decades old and helped it lead various categories, and one from Kadhir, which says its international journey began in the UAE with Jaleel and that it is now a market leader in its category. The company received a Dubai Quality Appreciation Award in 2016.
