Nabatco is a Syrian natural-products company based in Homs, founded in 2013 by the third generation of a partnership whose roots, the company says, go back to Medico, Syria's first pharmaceutical laboratories (1958), and to the Ibn Hayyan pharmaceutical company (1991). It trades under two brands: Nabatco and MontBerry. Nabatco herbal teas come in boxes of 20 dual-chamber teabags made with Italian technology. The range covers single herbs (chamomile, anise, spearmint, thyme, lemon verbena, melissa, hibiscus, ginger, sage); hot-drink blends such as Wild Zhourat, Zhourat Shamia, Winter Tea, liquorice and mint, Polo lemon and mint, hibiscus with pineapple or rose, ginger and honey, zallouh with honey and lemon, and cumin and lemon (including a Mega size); green teas (Sencha, mint, lemon, apple, cinnamon and ginger); medicinal blends (laxative, cold and flu, cough soothing); and children's herbal teas. MontBerry covers Ceylon, Earl Grey, peach and rose black teas; pyramid teabags (green, mint, lemon, white tea with pomegranate and forest fruits, whole chamomile); pure Syrian flower honey in 50 g packets and 250 g and 500 g squeeze bottles; Royal, Vital and Diamond honey blends with royal jelly and ginseng; flavoured kids' honey syrups; Max Honey for athletes; and honey and Mentholyptus lozenges. The company states that it exports various teas and herbs to 15 countries, that it checks raw materials for residues of fertilisers, pesticides and microorganisms, and that it works to ISO, HACCP and GMP quality controls. Its 2025 catalogue gives export carton specifications for each product. Nabatco exhibited at Gulfood 2026.
