NEROLIA Distribution (Kilani Group)

distributor• TN Tunisia• Member since 2022

NEROLIA is a distribution company of Tunisia's Kilani Group, based at Route de la Marsa, km 11, Ain Zaghouan, Tunis. Its page on the group's website states that it was created in 2022 following Kilani Group's acquisition of the Nestlé Distribution business in Tunisia, and that it specialises in the distribution of food products. The group's August 2021 announcement says Kilani has operated in Tunisia since 1986, employs about 1,800 people and was known for pharmaceutical manufacturing and the distribution of health, beauty and care products before entering food and beverages through this partnership. The company says it operates in several distribution channels: mass distribution (large and medium supermarkets), traditional distribution (wholesalers, grocery stores and minimarkets) and professional distribution covering hotels, restaurants, cafés, patisseries, workplaces, universities and public tenders. Its page shows figures of 25,000 grocery stores and minimarkets, 800 large and medium supermarkets, 700 B2B clients and 1,000 coffee machines placed with customers. The company says it distributes food products in the coffee, breakfast cereal, chocolate and hot drink categories, and that most of the brands it distributes are market leaders in Tunisia. Its page shows Nestlé, Nescafé, Ricoré, Nespresso and Grain d'Or among its partner brands. The partnership announcement states that Kilani directly imports and distributes Nestlé products in Tunisia while ownership of the international brands remains with Nestlé, naming Grain d'Or, Nescafé and KitKat. Under the same agreement the group bought the Grain d'Or breakfast cereal factory in Tunisia, which is now run by sister company IKEL with a production capacity the group site gives as 2,400 tonnes. In the announcement, group CEO Sara Masmoudi said the group's wide distribution network would make Nestlé products more widely available throughout the country and that the group would work on expanding Grain d'Or distribution in African markets. NEROLIA has no standalone website, only a dedicated page on the Kilani Group site.
