Al Risha Group, whose logo carries the Arabic name «Al Risha Al Dhahabia for Import and Distribution of Foodstuffs» and which appears on Instagram as Al Risha Al Dahabia FMCG, is a Libyan group headquartered in Tripoli working in fast-moving consumer goods distribution and food manufacturing. The group says it was founded in 1989 and has grown from a two-branch operation into a nationwide supply-chain network and consumer-goods manufacturer, describing its role as connecting global suppliers to more than 6,400 retail outlets. Its website reports a 2025 turnover of USD 83 million, up 21% year on year, and imports of around 2,100 containers a year (1,420 forty-foot and 680 twenty-foot containers). The group lists 11 hubs across branches and distribution centres: the head office and executive management in Tripoli, the Misrata branch for regional operations, and the Benghazi branch as its eastern regional office. Its main Tripoli warehouse covers 15,000 m² and the Benghazi warehouse 1,950 m², alongside 8 regional centres, of which the website names Zawiya, Krimia, Hashan, Zliten, Al Bayda and Tobruk. According to the website, the distribution fleet comprises 120 cash vans, 60 fleet sedans and 14 heavy 20-ft trucks, and the group says it drives retail availability and brand growth across all major Libyan territories. The group says it represents more than 15 leading multinational suppliers and works with leading regional partners. The "Our Strategic Partners" section of its website shows the logos of Nestlé, Nescafé, KitKat and Perrier water; Bel and La Vache qui rit cheese; Baci chocolates; Bahlsen biscuits; Lorenz snacks; Heinz; Plasmon baby food; Power Horse energy drink; Wonderful Pistachios; NADEC; John West; Twinings tea; Perfetti Van Melle, Mentos and Chupa Chups; and the Sweet'N Low sweetener. Alongside distribution, the group manages private-label products and a manufacturing arm, Al Tabiha for Food Industries, which it says was established in 2006 with European technology (HAAS, Bosch, Nielsen). Under licence from General Mills it produces Bugles and Stiky Fries corn snacks, Salim and Crispy chocolate-coated and layered wafer biscuits on high-capacity German equipment, and a private-label range including canned tuna, tomato paste, canned vegetables and tea, with the Wadi Alkof and Alawafy marks shown in that section.
