Vaniacom is a family business headquartered in Moroni with a branch in Mohéli, active in vanilla since 1999 and a pioneer of organic fair-trade certification in the Comoros. It supplies organic and conventional vanilla in gourmet and industrial grades, as well as organic fair-trade vanilla, working with around 150 producers across the archipelago. The company is authorised to export to Europe, the USA, Switzerland and Japan, with the EU taking about 80% of its annual production.
