Aramtec Qatar is the Qatari branch of the UAE foodservice company Aramtec; the contact page of the group's website lists it as "M/S Aramtec Foodstuff" with a Doha address (Building No. 407, P.O. Box 7929). Aramtec presents itself as a family-owned, 100% locally owned LLC founded in the UAE in 1979, describing itself as one of the UAE's longest-established foodservice companies and the region's largest importer of U.S. beef. Its site states that it opened its third location, in Doha, in 2022. The company says its key activity is importing and distributing premium foodservice products to hotels, restaurants, airlines, institutions and caterers across the GCC, and that it has more than 250 employees across its Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Qatar facilities, with warehouse facilities in Doha serving Qatar alongside its Dubai and Abu Dhabi warehouses with dry, chilled and frozen stores. The site cites more than 2,000 SKUs and over 1,750 hospitality customers, and elsewhere more than 2,500 F&B outlets across the GCC. According to its site, the group sources from the USA, Canada, France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Australia, Brazil and South Africa. Its protein division covers beef, lamb, poultry and veal, U.S. beef from American Foods Group in USDA Prime, Choice and Commercial grades, Australian Wagyu and grass-fed and grain-fed programmes, with exclusive products including AFG and JBS's The Bachelor, Appetit and Red Gum. Its "Aramtec Brands" page features Taji Wagyu, Stone Axe Wagyu, Margaret River, Bela Carne, Jumbuck and Yenkomo, and its foodservice brands page shows JBS, Friboi, Tyson Foods, Butterball, Norbest, Maple Leaf Farms and Pomì. Its pastry and bakery division carries more than 20 brands of chocolate, tart shells, premixes, fillings, decorations and frozen fruit, including Cémoi, Échiré, Bakels, Rich's, Pidy and Mette Munk. The site does not say which of these brands are available in Qatar specifically. Aramtec owns a private label, Farmer's Choice, with more than 60 SKUs, a seafood division called Aramtec Blue and a meat-processing facility in Dubai that produces custom burgers, sausages and portion-controlled cuts. The group displays EcoVadis, FSSC, ISO 9001 and HACCP certifications on its site and says it uses solar energy in its warehouses and electric vehicles in its delivery fleet.
