Manufacturer• JO Jordan• Member since 1962

Kabatilo is a Jordanian brand based in Amman. Its website says its story began in 1962, when Abdullah Kabatilo rented warehouses to manufacture roasted nuts and soda, and that Kabatilo then became known as the first and leading factory for green zaatar and spices in Jordan. The company trades as Abu Khaldoun Kabatilo, and states that it has a team of more than 100 people and uses the latest machinery in its factory. Its range covers zaatar (Abu Khaldoun, Jabali, Bayti, Daffa and Royal zaatar), doqqa (Abu Khaldoun, Palestinian, Gaza and Aleppo doqqa), sumac and sesame; single spices and more than 25 spice blends (mansaf, kabsa, maqluba, mandi, shawarma, shish tawook, falafel, biryani…) in 250 g, 500 g and 1 kg; and the packed 'Kabatilo Packed' line (60–200 g spice packs, falafel mix and fried-chicken coatings, freekeh and maftoul, tahini and halawa, pomegranate molasses, vinegars, rose and blossom water). Its shop also lists roasted and raw nuts and seeds, Arabic, Turkish and Saudi coffee, herbs and teas, dates and dried fruit, honey, olive oil, pulses and Belgian chocolate under the Abu Khaldoun Kabatilo name. The company states that it avoids artificial colourings in its products and that its vision is to grow from a local company into a global brand. It has branches in Amman (Al-Madina Al-Munawara Street, Sweifieh, Amman Mall, Downtown Petra Street) and in Irbid, plus an online shop. It is listed in the Jordanian Exporters Directory 2025–2026 published by the Amman Chamber of Industry, under herbs and spices.
