Yamal Alsham is a Syrian food manufacturer in the Damascus countryside. The company says its roots go back to 1950 on a farm in the Ghouta of Damascus, while its website also states that the Yamal Alsham brand was founded in 2015 with a vision of sharing Syrian flavours with the world. It says it has upgraded its production with modern technology and applies strict sterilisation stages for its jarred and canned products. The range covers jams (whole strawberry and whole fig, plus apricot, rose, blueberry, cherry and pumpkin in 430 g and 800 g jars), makdous with walnuts, grape leaves and stuffed grape leaves (yalanji), grilled green olives and green olives stuffed with pepper, lemon or carrot, pickles (cucumber, Armenian cucumber, pepper), mushrooms, artichokes and sweet corn, extra virgin olive oil, tomato paste, ketchup and chili sauces, pomegranate molasses, grape verjuice and vinegars (apple, balsamic, date, white), rose water and orange blossom water, tahini and pistachio halva, sesame bread sticks (ka'ak), and jallab, tamarind, rose and blueberry drinks. The company states that its products have reached most countries in the Middle East, Asia, Africa, Europe and America, and that it offers delivery across all Syrian governorates as well as regional and international shipping with export packaging. It exhibited at Gulfood 2026 in Dubai.
