Zer Group is a Turkish industrial group based in Gaziantep that produces food under the Zer brand and says its products are enjoyed in Türkiye and in 39 countries around the world. Zer Yağ Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. is its first food company: founded by Zer Holding in 2002 in the Gaziantep 3rd Organized Industrial Zone, it started with sunflower oil and today produces vegetable oils, ketchup, mayonnaise, bouillon, instant soups, instant desserts, vanilla sugar, baking powder, whipped cream powder, pudding and cocoa for the domestic market and for export worldwide. Group history: the story began in Gaziantep in 1991 with an international transport fleet and foreign trade (Selçuklar), and moved into food in 2002 with the Zer Yağ factory. In 2009 the group founded Zer Zeytincilik in Umurlu, Aydın, producing 12,000 tons of table olives a year, followed by the Zer Salça Konserve tomato paste and canned food factories in Aydın, Akhisar (Manisa) and Karacabey (Bursa), a tomato paste, sauce and canned food factory in Batman, and ABC Salça Konserve in 2013. The Istanbul office opened in 2015 and the GıdaEvim online store in 2018. Today the group works in staple foods, household cleaning and personal care and employs more than 2,000 people in Türkiye and abroad. Production: the group's margarine factory covers 100,000 m² with a daily capacity of 350 tons, producing table, cooking, baklava, pastry, börek and frying fats as well as fats for cakes, wafers, ice cream and biscuits. Cooking oils are produced with advanced automation, untouched by hand, and supplied to customers worldwide in 1, 2, 4, 5, 10 and 18-litre packs and more, in compliance with Ministry of Health regulations.
