Pakistan Food Products (Pvt) Ltd (PFP) is a Pakistani processor and exporter of fresh and frozen halal meat, based in Karachi close to the international airport and seaport to support export logistics. The company runs separate slaughter lines for cattle and for sheep/goats, with a slaughtering capacity of up to 50 head of cattle/buffalo per hour and 120 head of sheep/goats per hour, and holding pens for 2,000 sheep/goats and 1,000 cattle/buffalo. Its cold chain includes chillers (60-ton capacity), freezers (80-ton capacity) and blast freezers (55-ton capacity) with GPRS-based live temperature monitoring, alongside an in-house veterinary department for ante- and post-mortem checks, a microbiology lab and a reverse-osmosis water treatment plant. Operations follow ISO and HACCP standards. Its range covers fresh chilled and frozen beef and mutton as whole carcasses, quarters or bone-in/boneless cuts, as well as edible offal, hides and bones. Distribution runs via a refrigerated truck fleet within Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan, with sea and air export to markets worldwide.
