PROMOFOOD presents itself as a distributor of agri-food products in Tunisia, based in the Charguia 1 industrial zone in Tunis. Its site states that it was founded in 1999 and is one of the country's major companies in food distribution; it describes itself as a purchasing centre specialised in importing food products and selling them locally or for export, and says it acts as the holding company of Groupe HC, which it says has diversified under Mrs Hela Cherif Mseddi into other sectors such as plastics, packaging and real estate. The company says it masters the specifics of the Tunisian market and its distribution channels, delivers with a fleet of more than 70 vehicles and stores goods in 12 main warehouses spread across the country's regions, with a total area of 20,000 m². It distributes imported products in the modern channel (large and medium supermarkets and kiosks), in the traditional market through door-to-door selling, and through wholesale. The site states that Proxim handles door-to-door sales in the traditional market (groceries, drugstores, wholesalers) with a portfolio of depositaries across Tunisia's regions, while Beesky handles distribution in the modern channel. The company says it exclusively represents international brands in Tunisia, including Lay's, Doritos and Cheetos snacks, Indomie instant noodles, Swiss Lindt chocolate and Ducros condiments and spices. Its site shows sections for instant beverages, noodles, chips, nuts, canned goods, condiments, olive oil, rice and chocolate, including Zaara basmati rice from northern India and Saveurs mayonnaise, mustard and ketchup. The company also manages its own brands: Brava (instant coffee, chicory coffee and instant tea), Saveurs (canned vegetables, condiments, basmati rice and coated peanuts), Holyve (Tunisian olive oil) and Beesky (plant-based canned goods). The site says Brava Chicorée was named Brand of the Year 2023 at the Festival Brands Awards Of Tunisia and that the company exhibited at the Africa Food show in Tunis in December 2025. It says it works with the country's largest banks and obtained a COFACE guarantee, states its vision as becoming the leader in importing and distributing branded products in Tunisia, and lists its values as innovation, diversification, agility and trust.
