Sama Food Industries states that it is a privately owned enterprise in Amman launched in 2009 with a capital investment of JOD 12 million (USD 18 million) on 10,000 m2 of land at Salem Village, Main Road, Sahab; 'Sama' is the Arabic word for heaven. Sama Water was its first product. According to its website and export price list (January 2025), the range covers Sama natural mineral water extracted from a depth of 400 m in 1.5 L, 600/660 ml, 330 ml and 200 ml bottles; Sama carbonated drinks (cola, orange, lemon, red fruit, plus sugar-free cola and lemon); Shotika soft drinks in flavours such as concord grape, ginger, pina colada, lychee, pomelo and salty lime; Sama fruit drinks (mango, apple, pineapple, guava, mixed fruit, orange, lemon & mint, apricot) and a low-calorie Premia line; and Raz energy drink. Drinks come in 150, 185, 250 and 330 ml cans and 200, 285 and 1,500 ml PET bottles. The company states it holds ISO 22000:2005 for processing and filling natural mineral water, carbonated drinks and juices, the Jordan Quality Mark for natural mineral water, and a Best Bottled Water in the Middle East award from the Arab Beverages Association. It offers private labeling of mineral water, canned soft drinks, juices, energy drinks and malt drinks, and publishes an ex-works export price list. It is listed in the Jordanian Exporters Directory 2025-2026 published by the Amman Chamber of Industry.
