Şenpiliç started in 1978 with a small broiler farm and today presents itself as Turkey's largest integrated poultry producer, with a stated production of 425,000 tons per year. It operates breeding farms, hatcheries, feed mills and slaughterhouses in Sakarya, Osmaniye and Samsun, as well as a further processing plant. All of its slaughterhouses hold Halal certification, and the Söğütlü slaughterhouse has a pre-permit to export to the European Union. It exports to more than 30 countries, predominantly Iraq, Libya, Africa and the Middle East.
