Al Salam Mills Co. (Zaidan Alammouri & Sons) states that it was established in Amman in 1960 as a small family business and is today a multi-category food producer and a recognised exporter of branded food products. Its head office is on King Abdullah I Street, North Marka, Amman (P.O. Box 4050, Amman 11131), and it has roastery branches in Zarqa and Tabarbour. Its range includes Al Salam thyme (za'atar) in easy-open packs and baladi thyme; single spices and blends such as Mansaf, Biryani and Bukhari spices (the company says it offers more than 75 spice items in various weights, with packing on request); Teeba herbs and herbal drinks such as anise, chamomile and caraway; Marina jelly, baking powder and cake mixes; plus Arabic and French coffee, tahini, rice (Zaidan and Abu Al-Dahab), maftoul couscous, ketchup, vinegar, rose and blossom water, chicken stock, mastic and mahlab, and therapeutic oils such as black seed oil. The company states it holds ISO 22000 and HACCP certification and relies on continuous research and development. It exhibits at international fairs, including Gulfood Dubai 2024 and 2025, the Fancy Food Show 2024 and the Baghdad International Fair 2025. It is listed in the Jordanian Exporters Directory 2025–2026 published by the Amman Chamber of Industry.
