Ishtar Chocolate & Sweets (Sweiss Chocolate)

Ishtar Company for Chocolate and Sweets states that it was established in 2010 under the trade name "Sweiss Chocolate", launched a plan to expand production and marketing in 2014 and in 2015 moved its factory to a three-storey building in North Marka, Amman. It says its production team numbers 80 employees, supported by marketing, sales and logistics teams with a fleet of 11 vehicles. The website presents five lines: Sweiss cocoa-butter chocolates filled with gianduja, almonds, roasted hazelnuts, praline, caramel, Nescafe cream, cheesecake, Lotus and peanut-butter cream, plus chocolate-coated dates and occasion boxes; manufacturing chocolate (milk, dark and white moulds of 250 g, 1, 2.5 and 3 kg, drops and chips); creams and fillings in 5 kg pails such as hazelnut chocolate, pistachio, gianduja, cheesecake, orange and lemon creams; Turkish delight (raha), pistachio nougat, man wa salwa, sesame bars and lokum with rose, mastic and fruit (400 g); and mulabas dragees (sugar-coated almonds, chickpeas and fennel).
