The Jamal Al Maslamani Sons for Trade Group presents itself as a Palestinian group headquartered in Nablus, operating in two main sectors: manufacturing and packaging, and import and distribution. Its website states that Mr Jamal Al Maslamani founded it in 1952 as a small roastery in the old city of Nablus specialising in roasted peanuts and watermelon seeds; in 1970 it grew into a company processing and distributing roasted seeds and nuts, in 2000 it began importing chocolate, wafers and biscuits, and the group was formally established in 2016. It says it was ranked among Palestine's top-performing companies in 2023. The group says its supply chain comprises 34 sales vehicles and 40 sales experts serving more than 3,380 direct customers, mainly grocery stores, across the West Bank, with stated coverage of the Nablus, Qalqilya, Ramallah, Jenin, Tulkarm, Tubas, Jericho, Bethlehem and Hebron governorates. It sells wholesale to about 67 wholesalers on a B2B basis, works with two main distributors in the West Bank, one in the Gaza Strip and one in East Jerusalem, and also sells directly to consumers through its stores in Nablus, Jenin and Qalqilya and online. The group comprises four companies: Mahamis Al Maslamani, established in 2016 to import and distribute food, dairy and desserts, which it says brought Danette puddings, Activia and Actimel, mineral water brands and healthy snack brands to Palestine and holds a market share above 35%, with more than 35 employees and 20 distribution vehicles; Al Labban (2023), which distributes imported fresh milk and dairy through van sales and direct delivery, with Eker yogurt and ayran shown on its page; Siraj (2020), for spices and dried fruit and vegetables; and Saad Al Maslamani, which manufactures roasted nuts and seeds. Partner brands shown by the group include Şölen, Çizmeci Time, Cloetta, IVAL, Q.Brand (Naqarish) and OSKA water, along with Al Safi and Safio. The group states that its factory in Huwara produces more than 50 tonnes a month across 44 product types, that its products are exported to Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the USA and Belgium, that it received a quality certificate from the International Taste Institute in Belgium, and that it offers private-label packing; its own brands include Maslamani and Mixmas. It describes its vision as becoming a household name for Palestinian food products worldwide.
