Muhieddine Badr Company, known as BadrCo, was established in the early 1970s by the late Hajj Muhieddine Badr and is headquartered in Beirut; according to its website it specialises in importing and distributing a wide range of fine-quality confectionery and chocolate. The site says Mr. Moustafa Badr joined the business in 1972 and the company grew swiftly in the Lebanese market, that its activities continued through the civil war in 1975, that the rest of the Badr sons joined in 1980, turning it into a solid family trade, and that in 2000 it expanded its logistics, brand portfolio and nationwide reach. Its products section also shows Trefin candies such as Cafina, Eclair, Cristal Fruit and Hartmint, and Excellent chewing gum in several flavours.
