Bahaa Eldeen Al Bustanji & Partners Co. owns the Shaikh Al Kar factory and brand. The company states it was founded in 2014 in Amman and in 2019 opened a new, fully automated factory east of Amman in the Al-Muwaqqar development zone (P.O. Box 110080, Amman 11623), with a production capacity of up to 25 tonnes a day that can be increased as needed. It specialises in sesame products: tahini ground the traditional way on stone mills with no additives or preservatives, in retail jars from 300 to 800 g and bulk packs from 3.5 kg up to 18 kg tins; and halva in vanilla, chocolate, pistachio and mixed-nut varieties, from 400 g to 6 kg. Its website also lists jameed, American and basmati rice, macaroni and vermicelli, soups, canned tuna, sardines, chickpeas and beans, and tea under the Shaikh Al Kar brand, and its Gulfood profile adds bakery sesame seeds and private-label production. The company states that it sources sesame from the best international origins and passes it through five sieving stages and laser sorting before roasting, and that it exports more than 50% of its output to countries including the USA, Canada, Australia, Morocco, the Gulf states and Europe. It exhibits at Gulfood Dubai and is listed in the Jordanian Exporters Directory 2025–2026 published by the Amman Chamber of Industry.
