In Jordan, halva and tahini making is closely linked to the Kasih family name. The company's website says Hajj Raslan Kasih founded Raslan Kasih and Sons in Amman in 1926 to produce halva and tahini, and that in 1996 Hajj Muhammad Adnan Kasih established Kasih Factories Group for Foodstuff in Zarqa, which it describes as one of the most advanced halva and tahini facilities in the world. Its Kasih-brand range covers Golden Tahini; halva (Extra with pistachio, chocolate or vanilla, Super Extra with nuts, premium halva stuffed with or covered in chocolate) and halva spreads; thyme (zaatar); cocoa and chocolate powder and a hazelnut chocolate spread; corn starch, icing and brown sugar; breadcrumbs and panko; oats and muesli; microwave popcorn; green freekeh; Himalayan salt and pepper; cooking-oil and olive-oil sprays; herbal teas; Arabic syrup and dessert syrups; jelly; instant desserts (cream caramel, chocolate mousse, custard) and baking ingredients. The company also offers private labelling. The company states that it holds ISO 22000, HACCP and BRC certifications and exports to more than 40 countries worldwide; its product pages give export packing and container-loading data (20 ft and 40 ft) for each item. It is listed in the Jordanian Exporters Directory 2025–2026 published by the Amman Chamber of Industry, under traditional foods (halva).
